2017 has already been a busy blockbuster year for us here at Cedar Rose. We’ve made some excellent progress across the different areas of the business and made some great new additions to the team. As the northern hemisphere heads into autumn, we’re heading out into the world to tell more people about what we do and how we can help them. It makes for a demanding schedule for the whole team, but there’s no time like the present and there’s a great deal for us to talk about.
Our Client Services Team Leader Nicole Konstantinou and Client Relationship Executive Hannah King were in Rome recently, doing an excellent job of representing the company at the International Credit and Risk Management Summit. Last week I was in London for my second speaking engagement with Forums International of this year, with whom Cedar Rose is a Corporate Partner. Following on from an excellent first event in Dublin back in July, this time it was the turn of our Head of Software Development Mohamed Atwi to lead our company’s presentation on Cultural Differences at the Export and International Credit Forum.
I’ll be back in London in the first week of October for CCR Magazine’s Interactive Conference, where I’ll be giving two presentations, one on Trading in MENA and one on Risk Mitigation. The event is particularly significant for us as we are once again finalists in two categories of the Credit Excellence Awards, which are due to take place on the evening of the conference. After our win last year we’d be delighted to make it two in a row – an excellent reward for all the busy work our teams have put in over the last year.
A week later our Data Strategist Angelique Assaf and Head of Credit Reporting Cynthia Gebeily will be in Nice for the ICTF’s International Credit Professionals Symposium, and from the 18th-20th October I’ll be in Bangkok for the BIIA Biennial Conference. This year I’ll be taking the opportunity to appear in a panel discussion on Compliance & Identity, and am looking forward to exchanging some perspectives on what’s happening with the unfolding Fintech revolution.
The end of October takes us to Istanbul, for the Aman Union’s 8th Annual Meeting. So, while the summer may be winding down, we’ll be doing no such thing. For us, this autumn is about getting out into the world to see as many people as possible and giving them an idea of what our company can do for them. See you out there!
